Pain Point
In order for IDFC FIRST Bank to keep its growing digital-first workforce engaged and connected, it was necessary to modernise its internal framework of rewards and recognition. Current processes were fragmented & manual with no consistency across teams. The absence of a centralised system has resulted in limited visibility into employee recognition, thereby making it difficult to foster employee engagement, standardise reward practices, or measure impact.
Solution
The bank's partnership with Novus Loyalty resulted in the creation of a single, scalable, and flexible R&R platform with an enterprise-grade level of service. The solution included a new real-time recognition workflow that allowed managers and peers to recognize each other in real time; new role based reward structures that aligned with employee performance metrics, as well as tiered categories for recognizing employees across all different areas; and all of this combined with a large number of personalized digital reward offerings that could be easily integrated into current systems, as well as access to a large number of different types of redemption options turning recognition into a visible and engaging, data-driven experience.
Result
Transforming the process created a unified recognition across all areas of the organization, leading to higher levels of participation, greater transparency, and more consistency for employees and for Managers/Leaders. Employees received more immediate and relevant recognition, while management and leadership received real-time visibility into performance, engagement levels, and recognition distribution, establishing the groundwork for a culture based solely on recognition.
